Easter Seals will benefit from Komara program

Easter Seals and Komara Jewelers ask the public to “Have a Heart” and drop off old, broken or unwanted gold, silver and/or platinum items to Komara’s two locations and receive cash.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 11, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 13. Komara’s will donate to Easter Seals a percentage of the value of the items taken in.

Argus Lodge Golf Classic

CANFIELD — Argus Lodge 545 will host its 7th annual Arctic Open Golf Classic on Saturday at Argus Park Pavilion, 5050 Shields Road. Golfers will tee off beginning at noon.

The cost is $5 and includes golf, chili and a beverage. Proceeds will be donated to the local Special Olympics.
