The Austintown public library hosted an interactive storytime event for young children and their parents on Jan. 28. Gotta Move Story Time, led by children’s librarian Judy Sluss, is for young and restless kids to spend time with their parents and other children, Sluss said.
Rick Puckett, who attended the event with wife Jennifer and their two sons, said the event was a great time for their son Benjamin, 2, to interact with other children.
“It’s a great resource for the community,” Rick said. “It helps fulfill that saying — “It takes a village to raise a child.’ ”
Gotta Move Story Time takes place at the Austintown public library on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 11 a.m.
