Electric-program mailers

Electric-program mailers

Mailers will be sent to residents in Austintown and Canfield townships concerning the townships’ new electric-aggregation programs.

Residents will automatically be enrolled in the three-year program unless they return the opt-out card in the mailer, according to news releases sent by both townships.

The mailers are expected to begin arriving today, and residents will have 21 days to return the opt-out notice to FirstEnergy Solutions, the company offering the aggregation.

Austintown Administrator Mike Dockry and Canfield Trustee Tony Bettile said residents in both townships will save about $150 over the three-year period, according to the news releases.

Residents with questions should contact FirstEnergy Solutions at (866) 636-3749.
