Mahoning engineer's office gets grant to post watershed signs

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Engineer’s Office has used a $5,000 grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s environmental education fund to erect 88 signs marking 14 streams where county roads cross them in the Mill Creek watershed.

The goal of the Sign Our Streams program is to increase public awareness of the importance of water-pollution prevention.
