Open mike night set by Lady J, Conscious Crib
YOUNGSTOWN — Lady J will present Conscious Crib’s Poetry in Motion, an open mike night, from 7-10 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Heart Reach Building, 211 Redondo Road, Youngstown, in spoken word.
The public is invited for an evening of guest panelists featuring “Lucky Penny and T Love. The topic will be relationships. The evening will feature poets, rappers and singers, great food and atmosphere. A $3 donation is requested to support the cause.
Hectic family life will be meeting theme
YOUNGSTOWN — The Holistic Moms Network, Youngstown Chapter, will present a program, “Resolutions: A How to Guide for Hectic Families,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave.
There will be a candid discussion on how to reprioritize, reorganize and regain sanity in the family.

Shoe drive for Haiti

Boy Scouts plan celebration, breakfast
CANFIELD — The 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America will be celebrated Sunday during both services at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St.
From 7:30 to 10 a.m. members of the Boy Scout Troop 25 of Canfield will serve pancake breakfasts to all who attend. A donation will be accepted.
