Memorial grows for Ohio cyclist killed in accident

CLEVELAND (AP) — A bicycle is the centerpiece of a growing curbside memorial in Cleveland for a woman struck and killed by a truck while riding the bike to work.

Sylvia Bingham’s white bicycle is surrounded by flowers and helmets at the corner where the AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer was killed in September. The bicycle helmets can be taken and used by anyone who needs one.

The driver of the truck has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and drunken driving.
