Weathersfield spending down about $50K this year

Weathersfield Township trustees approved a final 2010 budget of $2.503 million Thursday, as the township spent about $50,000 less than in 2009.

The township’s 2009 budget was $2.554 million, clerk Fred Bobovnyk said.

“We always try not to overspend, and we did constrain more on what our spending was in 2010,” Bobovnyk said, noting his concerns over expected cuts in the next state budget.
