Deputies arrest man for burglary

CANFIELD

Police say more charges are pending against a 52-year-old man who has already been accused of burglary.

Jack A. Bruno Jr., of Boardman, was arrested by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office Monday on charges of receiving stolen property and burglary. Police said they searched Bruno’s home and garage, finding numerous items that were reported stolen or suspected of being stolen, such as jewelry, a laptop, rare coins, tools and toy train sets.

Detectives with the sheriff’s office would not comment further on the pending charges.

Bruno, who posted bond, has a preliminary hearing Jan. 28.
