Making an investment: Wells Fargo Advisors made a sizeable investment in the community recently by providing a $4,250 grant to Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley. The grant will help the food bank provide food for those in need in the Mahoning Valley. Wells Fargo & Co. has a strong legacy of giving to the community. In 2009 the combined company contributed more than $200 million in grants and sponsorships to nonprofit organizations and 1.4 million team-member hours volunteering in communities across the United States. Participating in the presentation of the grant to Second Harvest were, from left, Patti Wilson, David Patrick, Sandy Haynes and Beth Ortz, who watched as David Croutch, manager of the Canfield Branch of Wells Fargo Advisors, passed a facsimile of the check to Michael Iberis, executive director of the food bank.
