School band presents holiday concert

Banding together: The school band at St. Patrick School in Hubbard performed a concert for other students, family members and friends on Dec. 21 at the parish center. Laura Volenik, band director, conducted the students as they presented a program of holiday classics. A segment of the concert featured a saxophone performance by several students, including, from left, Mary Lyons, Tim Wirtz and Josh Chrobak. The band is open to students in grades four through eight and presents several program throughout the year.
