Marrow appointed to the Mill Creek MetroParks Board

YOUNGSTOWN — Valencia Marrow was appointed to the Mill Creek MetroParks Board of Park Commissioners for a three-year term.

Judge Mark Belinky, of Mahoning County Probate Court, announced the appointment today. Marrow, of Youngstown, will replace long-time board member Virginia Dailey, who didn’t seek reappointment.

Marrow, the first African American to serve on the board, will be sworn at 10 a.m. on Jan. 7 at Fellows Riverside Gardens’ Davis Center.
