A summary of recent criminal activity in Austintown Township.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 20

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 400 block of Westgate Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Raven Moore, 19, 4580 Smith-Stewart, Vienna,on a warrant alleging assault.

Theft: $20.09 in gasoline was stolen at the BP gas station, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A Toro snowblower was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Dec. 21

Warrant: Kristin Long, 23, 624 N. Four Mile Run, was arrested on a warrant alleging receiving stolen property.

Assault: Two males were assaulted by several other males at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Theft: Checks were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of E. Radio Road.

Theft: A purse and credit card were taken at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. and used at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: David Higham, 18, 71 Carnegie Ave., was arrested on two warrants charging failure to appear and failure to comply with probation and two other warrants alleging theft.

Burglary: A house in the 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue was entered, and guns, ammunition, jewelry and cash were taken.

Identity theft: A trash-removal account was opened in the name of a 12-year-old at a home in the 50 block of N. Kimberly Ave.

Criminal damaging: Windows were damaged by a pellet gun at a home in the 200 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Dec. 22

Telecommunications harassment: A female reported getting text messages at a home in the 1000 block of W. Hampton Drive.

Theft: OxyContin and Lyrica were stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Dec. 23

Recovered property: A $100 U.S. Savings Bond was recovered at BP gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly: Police arrested Thomas Sudac, 57, 11 N. Turner Road, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Telephone harassment: A victim reported receiving unwanted phone calls at work at Roth Brothers, 3821 Crum Road.

Disorderly conduct: Thomas Meckulich was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and assault on a police officer at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at Wal-mart.

Bench warrant: Larae Karabin, 48, 3947 Staatz Drive, was arrested on a bench for warrant charging failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Dec. 24

Theft: A men’s wallet was taken at a home in the 1000 block of N. Meridian Road.

Burglary: Copper pipe was cut after a forced entry into a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Lost wallet: A wallet was reported lost at Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Garmin GPS and CDs were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.

Warrant: David McMurray, 30, 5627 Tulane, was arrested on a warrant alleging domestic violence at Notre Dame and Harvard.

Aggravated menacing: A woman reported being threatened and followed by a male suspect at a home in the 3000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Dec. 25

Theft: Prescription pills were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Dec. 26

Assault: A woman was punched in the face by a male at Get-Go, 5613 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Justin Horn, 22, 10246 Detwiler, Canfield, was issued a summons alleging disorderly conduct at Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: Anthony Seidita, 45,116 S. DeHoff, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering at Youngstown Mirror and Glass, 3991 Hendricks Road.

Burglary: A garage door was forced open, but nothing was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Artmar Drive.

Theft: $53.98 was stolen at the BP gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: A man was struck by two men at Rumors, 104 N. Meridian Road.

Menacing: Threats were received at a home in the 1000 block of Aldrich Road.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made by phone to a home in the 200 block of N. Edgehill Ave.
