Army officer speaks at Austintown Rotary meeting

Promoting the draft: Members of the Rotary Club of Austintown had an opportunity to learn more about ESGR (Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve) program when Steve Prestridge, U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3, spoke at a recent meeting. He explained the mission of the program is to develop and promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees and encouraged employers to “draft” qualified servicemen for any available jobs. Susan Leetch, club president, presented Prestridge with a certificate for a book to be donated to Woodside School in his honor.
