v“The Incredible Machine”: Sugarland. Mercury/UMGN.
v“Need You Now”: Lady Antebellum. Capitol Nashville.
“The Sound of Music” (7 p.m., ABC): The hills are once again alive with “The Sound of Music” as the Julie Andrews classic returns for another holiday airing. Feel free to sing along.
“Framed” (9 p.m., PBS): “Framed” is the latest “Masterpiece Contemporary” offering. It’s about a curator (Trevor Eve), who is charged with secretly moving London’s National Gallery collection to a Wales mine when a plumbing disaster threatens the artworks.
“Ax Men” (9 p.m., History Channel): The “Ax Men” cometh and they bring an ominous episode called “Day From Hell.” We don’t like the sound of that.

Boardman native’s play is presented
Lisa Huberman, a 2004 graduate of Boardman High School, had her masters’ thesis play, “Egyptology,” presented by the Rutgers Theater Company from Dec. 3-11. A wrenching drama inspired by the true story of an ongoing lesbian custody battle, “Egyptology” charts one woman’s struggle to maintain a relationship with her daughter after her former partner marries a man and adopts an increasingly extreme religious worldview. The daughter of attorney Mark and Wanda Huberman and Debbie Cogan, Lisa earned her undergraduate degree in theater performance at Bradley University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was one of only two students in the nation accepted into the playwriting program at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, where she has studied under New York playwright Lee Blessing.
