Jeney Elizabet Housel exchanged wedding vows with Ryan David Wason on Nov. 27 in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at Lordstown Lutheran Evangelical Church officiated by the Rev. Steven Ritter.

The bride, daughter of Raymond and Phyllis Housel Sr. of North Jackson, and the groom, son of Ross and Roberta Wason of Aurora, Ohio, returned to their Georgia home after their reception at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora.

The bride wore her mother’s family-made gown, which she redesigned. The gown had one asymmetrical shoulder strap with floral embellishments and a chiffon ruched bodice with a back that plunged into a chapel-length train.

Wearing gray gowns were Gretchen Obrovac, the matron of honor, and bridesmaid Ashley Green. Flower girl was Brianna Chin. Attendants also included Janeil Housel, sister of the bride; and Erin Wason and Meredith Stamm, the groom’s sisters; Kristin Wason, the groom’s sister-in-law; and Kelsey Wason, the groom’s niece.

Matt Fossa was best man, and Alan Stevens Jr. was the bride’s man of honor. Ring bearer was Cole Jeffries. Ushers were Raymond Housel Jr., Roger Housel and Jared Housel, all brothers of the bride; Ross Wason, brother of the groom; and Jeffery Stamm, brother-in-law of the groom.

Mrs. Wason earned her bachelor’s degree in special education from Kent State University. She is employed with Forsyth County Schools in Cumming, Ga. Mr. Wason earned his bachelor’s degree in music education from Heidelberg College. He is employed with Forsyth County Schools in Suwanee, Ga.
