Elyse Marie DiMartino became the bride of Christopher M. Aracich when they exchanged vows in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 25 at St. Paul Church in New Middletown. Father Nicholas Shori officiated and a reception took place at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown.

The bride, daughter of Vince and Debra DiMartino of Poland, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in food nutrition. She is employed as a registered dietitian for Aramark in Front Royal, Va.

The groom, son of Charles J. and Marcy Alice Aracich of Boardman, is also a YSU graduate. He earned a degree in education with a health and physical education licensure at YSU. He is employed as a health and physical education teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, Va.

The bride’s ivory A-line form-fitted gown was fashioned of beaded ivory lace with hints of sparkle.

Adriana DiMartino, sister of the bride, was maid of honor along with Emily Powell.

Wearing chocolate-and-merlot-colored gowns were the bridesmaids, Katie Taybus; Lindsey Faith; Allison Aracich, the groom’s sister; Lisa Ortiz; Ashley Alexoff; Melissa Chance; and Sara Stanovcak.

Sharing the duties of best man were the groom’s brothers, Daniel J. Aracich and Charles C. Aracich. Groomsmen were Gino Tocco; Russ Snyder; Chris Hintosh, the groom’s brother-in-law; Scott Finamore, cousin of the groom; John Aldan III; James Anderson; and Michael White. Ring bearer was William Desmond.

The couple have postponed their wedding trip to the Dominican Republic until the summer of 2011, and live in Manassas, Va.
