The marriage of Ashley Kristin Deas and James David Plummer took place in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 2 at Berlin Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russell Libb presided.

A reception followed at Antone’s Banquet Centre, in Boardman. The couple plan a postponed honeymoon cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, in February and live in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Sue Deas of Berlin Center. The groom’s parents are Kathy Sullivan of Belpre, Ohio, and Gregory Plummer of Parkersburg, W.Va.

The bride’s strapless ivory satin gown was enhanced with lace detailing on the bottom and sides and featured an embroidered sweetheart bodice.

Mikah Konst was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Katie Deas, sister-in-law of the bride; Beverly Ketchens; Jennifer Hallos; Beth Jones; and Sharon Santino. The attendants wore persimmon-colored gowns.

Serving as best man was Timothy Vogelsong, and groomsmen were Michael Plummer, the groom’s brother; Kyle Deas, the bride’s brother; Robert Martin; Nicholas Stanwick; and Justin Smith.

The bride graduated from Marietta College with a degree in graphic design. She holds a marketing/design position with PixlMediaServices Inc. in Columbus.

The groom, also a Marietta College graduate, earned a degree in sports medicine. He works as a rehabilitation specialist for Wieging Chiropractic in Grove City, Ohio.
