EASTON, Pa.

Police in eastern Pennsylvania say they have arrested a man in a Christmas Eve shooting that sent a teenager and a woman to the hospital in critical condition.

Easton police said they were called to a home just before midnight Friday and found a 17-year-old youth and a 43-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the head.

Inspector Matthew Gerould told The (Easton) Express-Times that state police arrested a 46-year-old man Christmas morning at his home. State police said a warrant had been issued for two counts of criminal attempt to commit homicide and two counts of aggravated assault.

Gerould says the two victims remain in critical condition.
