POLITICAL CLUBS

Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parkwood Youth Center.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to pray the Rosary followed by a meeting at the church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

SINGLES

D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Tuesday, meeting at Vernon’s in Niles at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, walking at Southern Park Mall from the food court at 6; and Thursday, game night at Disciples Church at 7:30. SUPPORT GROUPS

Nar-anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland. Newcomers should arrive at 6:45. For more information call 330-856-3822.

TOPS 1262, McDonald, meets Wednesdays in the senior citizens room at the post office building. Weigh-in is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., and the meeting will follow. New members are welcome.
