Santa Claus stopped by Boardman Park Dec. 9 to have dinner with kids of the community.

The park hosted its eighth annual Supper with Santa in the Lariccia Family Community Center from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tossed salad, green beans, chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese was served for dinner.

After eating, various activities, including making holiday place mats, ornaments, Christmas scenes and games, were available for kids to participate in. There was even fake snow available for them to throw around.

The highlight of the evening was a photo with Santa and one of his elves.

The event was open to the community, but tickets had to be purchased to attend.
