Charlotte 57, Wright State 53

CHARLOTTE, N.C.

Derrio Green scored 16 points and hit the two biggest shots of the game as Charlotte rallied to beat Wright State. Green, a 6-foot-2 junior, hit a 17-footer to tie the game at 53 with 1:05 left, then hit a 3-pointer with 15.5 seconds left for a 56-53 lead. N’Gai Evans led Wright State (7-6) with 12 points. Cooper Land scored 10.

Cleveland State 69, South Florida 62

CLEVELAND

Norris Cole scored 27 points and Jeremy Montgomery added 21 for Cleveland State. The Vikings (13-1) trailed by as many as seven in the opening half and entered halftime down 26-24 after shooting 11 of 34 from the field (32.4 percent). With the score tied, 44-44, for the 11th time at the 11:53 mark of the second half, Cleveland State went on a 17-7 run to take a 51-41 lead with 4:27 to go. Jarrid Famous scored 22 points and had 11 rebounds to lead South Florida.

Bradley 73, Detroit 65

PEORIA, ILL.

Andrew Warren scored 24 points and made four of Bradley’s five 3-pointers. Dodie Dunson added 18 points and Will Egolf 11 for the Braves (6-5), who won their second in a row. Ray McCallum scored 15 points and had a game-high nine assists to lead the Titans (7-6). Eli Holman added 14 points and Chris Blake 11.

Loyola 84, Texas-Pan American 76

EDINBURG, TEXAS

Loyola placed five scorers in double figures to beat Texas-Pan American. Geoff McCammon led the Ramblers (9-4) with 16 points, including four 3-pointers. He was followed by Terrance Hill with 15, Ben Averkamp with 13, Walt Gibler with 12 and Courtney Stanley with 10. Gibler also had a game-high eight rebounds as Loyola broke a two-game losing streak.
