Cruze wins award

lordstown

The Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze was one of 10 new vehicles to win the prestigious Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The award honors vehicles for their ability to protect motorists in front, side, rear and rollover crashes. The vehicles must have anti-rollover technology called Electronic Stability Control and strong scores in roof strength tests. Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet marketing, said the award would build on “the already strong global safety reputation of the Cruze.”
