Youngstown man charged with dragging cop arraigned today

YOUNGSTOWN — A 46-year-old city man is in Mahoning County jail on several felony charges associated with dragging a police officer with his car last week.

Miles Hogan surrendered to police officers Tuesday at the jail. He had been wanted on charges of felonious assault, obstructing official business and fleeing and eluding since an incident involving Youngstown Officer Patrick Mulligan on Dec. 16.

Hogan appeared today by video arraignment before Judge Elizabeth Kobly of Youngstown Municipal Court. The judge ordered Hogan held on a $300,000 bond — $100,000 on each of the three charges.
