Woman shot in North Side driveway

Police are investigating a reported shooting on the city’s North Side.

According to reports, a 28-year-old Lexington Avenue woman told police she was leaving her driveway at 2 p.m. Monday when a woman with whom she is familiar began trying to open the driver’s side door. The woman said a man walked up immediately after and began firing shots at her car.

The woman told police she did not call police until Tuesday after speaking with her mother about the incident.
