Darryl Roberts scored 16 points to lead Akron at the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. Akron (6-4), which owned a 46-31 halftime lead, also had Zeke Marshall with 14 points and 16 rebounds, Brett McClanahan with 14 points and Alex Abreu with 10. Arkansas-Little Rock (6-6) was led by Solomon Bozeman with 19 points. Courtney Jackson and Alex Garcia-Mendoza added 10 points each for the Trojans. The Zips shot 50.0 percent (28 of 56) from the field and did even better from 3-point range, hitting 11 of 21 for 52.4 percent. The Trojans were limited to 39.1 percent shooting (18 of 46).

Dion Dixon scored a career-high 23 points, and Cincinnati remained one of nine unbeaten Division I teams in its first trip to Oxford in nearly 18 years. The Bearcats (11-0) are on their longest winning streak since 2004-05, when they opened 11-0 in Bob Huggins’ final season as coach.

Freshman forward Delino Dear scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career double-double for Toledo. The win was the third straight for the Rockets (3-9), who led throughout against the RedHawks (1-13), an NAIA opponent.

Pierre Sneed scored a career-high 15 points while Jauwan Scaife and Jarrod Jones added another 15 each in Ball State’s win. The Cardinals (6-3) began the game with a 10-0 run and were up 43-18 by halftime.
