Two teens arrested in city burglary

Two teens were arrested on charges of burglary on the city’s South Side on Monday afternoon.

Police charged a 15-year-old boy with burglary and obstructing official business after police found him hiding in a vacant home on East Philadelphia Avenue. He also was wanted for felonious assault in another incident. A 13-year-old boy also was arrested for burglary.

The two are accused of breaking into a home on the 3000 block of Zedaker Street and stealing televisions. Police matched the teens’ shoe prints with those found at the scene of that house and others along Zedaker and Detroit Avenue.
