New Life Lutheran Church was the setting at noon July 31 for the wedding of Teresa Miranda and Eric Swanson.

Parents of the bride are Albert Miranda Jr. of Niles and the late Sandra Miranda. Parents of the groom are Mary Swanson of Liberty and the late Charles Swanson Sr.

The Rev. William Wessner presided over the ceremony, and a reception followed at McMenamy’s Banquet Hall in Niles.

The couple honeymooned in the Hawaiian Islands and are living in Howland.

The bride wore a white strapless pickup gown with a beaded bodice, lace-up back and a sweep train.

Amanda Birmingham served as the bride’s matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Cherise Milnar; Terria Icard; Lee Ann Cannistra; Anne Lynch, cousin of the bride; and Laura Vinson, the groom’s sister. The bridesmaids wore red satin gowns. Jocelyn Birmingham participated as the flower girl.

Charles Swanson Jr., brother of the groom, was his best man. Groomsmen were Hadi Hadi, Ryan Williams, Michael Cannistra, Zeyad Rafidi and Sean Tyrrell. The ring bearer was the groom’s nephew Matthew Vinson.
