Missing 4-year-old found in Poland home

Police found a 4-year-old girl in a township residence Saturday, after she was reported missing from a Western Pennsylvania neighborhood in August 2009.

A Springfield township resident saw a poster in Youngstown with the missing girl’s information and recognized it as her neighbor. She notified Springfield police and Lt. Ray Fellows investigated the situation and learned the family had moved to Poland township recently, said Chief Matthew Mohn.

Mohn said the girl’s grandparents had custody of her, and that it appeared she was found with at least one of her parents in Poland. The girl was featured on a poster from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
