The wedding of Mara Boak and Carmen Geosano, both of South Euclid, Ohio, took place at 2 p.m. Sept. 11 at St. Michael Church, officiated by the Rev. Terry Hazel.

A reception followed at The Lake Club in Poland before the couple left on a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a daughter of Sam and Donna Boak of Canfield and Bridget Mahoney and Bob Moskowitz of Cincinnati.

The groom is a son of Robert and Mary Geosano of Eastlake, Ohio.

The bride is a graduate of John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a master’s in business administration.

She is employed in accounting and operations at Boak & Sons Inc. in Youngstown.

The groom earned an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and is employed as senior internal controls coordinator for Tarkett Inc. in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown that featured ruching and beading on the bodice. It was fashioned with a bustled train and a lace-up back.

Julie Boak, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor and wore a coral-colored gown, along with the bridesmaids, Erin Fening; Kelly Williams; Natalie Volkin; Vangjola Gjika; Amanda Redwine; Gina Crooks, the grooms’ sister; and Jeni Wargacki. The groom’s nieces Una Moon-Geosano and Fiora Moon-Geosano served as flower girls.

Nick Geosano, brother of the groom, and Nate Zavorek shared the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Tom Reilly; John Kuskin; Jim Kortovich; T.J. Kwasniak; Jared Crooks, brother-in-law of the groom; and John Smolic.

The groom’s nephew Lucian Moon-Geosano was the ring bearer.
