Winter Solstice Walk canceled at Ford Nature Center

YOUNGSTOWN — Tuesday’s Winter Solstice Walk at Ford Nature Center is canceled.

The event, which was scheduled for 6 p.m., was previously removed from the Mill Creek MetroParks e-mail event calendar but not from the website, said Linda Kostka, MetroParks development and marketing director.

Kostka apologized for the error and said the cancellation was on too short notice to schedule another event for the evening.
