MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Dec. 22: Barbecue pork, au gratin potatoes, spinach, Diamond Jim bun, unsweetened peaches, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 23: Cincinnati chili, green beans, mexicorn, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, white bread with margarine, and milk.

Friday, Dec. 24: Christmas Eve; meals closed.

Saturday, Dec. 25: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard/mayo, celery cup with ranch dressing, fresh apple, and grape juice.

Monday, Dec. 27: Barbecue beef cubes, baked beans quintet, o’brien potatoes, hamburger bun, fresh orange, oatmeal cream, angel food cake, and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 28: Southwest meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, peas, white bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened fruited gelatin, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, Dec. 22: Ham and pineapple, mashed yams, creamed corn, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 23: Holiday

Friday, Dec. 24: Holiday
