SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced

AARP 4339, which canceled its Christmas party on Dec. 14 due to the weather, has rescheduled the event for Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Saxon Club.

Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet for the annual Christmas party Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Loganway. The festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m., and food will be served at 2. To report illness call Connie DiPiero at (330) 788-2340.

Girard OldTimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Hill.

Holy Family Seniors will meet for their annual Christmas party at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Center in Hope Hall. Use the Youth Center entrance. The party will feature bingo, cards, a 50-50 raffle and a catered luncheon. No payments will be accepted at the door. If you have questions call Jennie Nethers at 330-757-2021. North Jackson Keenagers will have a Christmas party at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dino’s in North Jackson. The cost is $15. Reservations are to be made by calling 330-538-2104.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ode Heldman will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. REAC 3298 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday for a luncheon at Lucianno’s in the Wedgewood Plaza, Austintown. There also will be a gift exchange.

SEIU Local 1199 Retirees will have a Christmas luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Gentry Restaurant, Main Street, Hubbard. The next business meeting will be in March 2011.
