Shiloh Baptist Church was the setting at 3 p.m. Oct. 30 for the wedding of Alise Kelly Weaver and Wayne Lesean Jordan, both of Columbus.

The Rev. Archie McMillion officiated as nuptial vows were exchanged by the daughter of Carol Weaver of Campbell and the late Ozell Weaver, and the son of Janet Jordan of Warren and the late Andrew Jordan.

The couple were honored during a reception at the Regency House in Youngstown before leaving on a wedding trip to the Pacific Beach Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The bride’s off-the-shoulder-style gown of white satin was enhanced with a purple sash.

Purple gowns were worn by Marlo Ross, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Farrah Shaw-Hewlett, the bride’s cousin; Breyonna Smith, the bride’s goddaughter; and Leticia Jordan, the groom’s sister. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin Farrah Hewlett.

Andrew Jordan III served as best man for his brother, as did Edward Jordan Sr., also the groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Dwayne Jordan, the groom’s son, and Vincent Turner. Ring bearer was Pierre Arnold II, the groom’s nephew.

Ushers were Adrias Barnett, Lamont Bryant, Andre Bennett and Wayne Jordan Jr., the groom’s son.
