Market Street Elementary students and their families had breakfast with Santa on Saturday.

The menu included pancakes, sausage, french toast and chocolate milk. In addition to a free meal, students were able to have a photo taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Some students decided to color portraits of reindeers and write letters to Santa, while others shopped in Santa’s workshop. A Chinese auction for gift baskets was available for students and parents to participate in.

Donations of winter gloves and mittens were being hung on the school’s giving tree that will be used to provide winter apparel to students in the school who are in need.

Breakfast with Santa was sponsored by the school’s PTA and monies raised will be used for future school events.
