Gary Ball Jr. and his bride, the former Shelby Yannerella, honeymooned during a Caribbean cruise after their wedding on Oct. 23 at St. Charles Church.
The couple were united in marriage during an 11 a.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Shawn Conoboy and accepted congratulations at a reception at the ITAM in Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are Darla Yannerella of Mansfield and Al Yannerella of Cincinnati, and the groom’s parents are Robin Adams of New Springfield and Gary Ball of North Lima.
The bride’s ivory side-draped trumpet-style gown was adorned with beading and featured a dramatic taffeta high-collar neckline and a chapel train.
Abbey Yannerella, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a black gown, as did the bridesmaids, Brittaney Bertko, Victoria Wallace and Alexis Wallace, her cousins; Shawna Applegate, the groom’s sister; Kristen Gavalier; and Brittany Milone. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin Maria Socciarelli.
The duties of best man were performed by Dustin Pierce, and groomsmen were Garrett Pierce; Tony Devlin, the groom’s cousin; Bryan Mullins and Chris Mullins, the bride’s stepbrothers; Andy Hospodar; and Bill Gavalier.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree with a concentration in marketing. She is a self-employed hairstylist at Salon at Creekside.
The groom is a laborer with Marucci and Gaffney Excavating in Youngstown.
The Balls live in Boardman.
