Rachel Marafiote, a daughter of John and Kathi Marafiote of Youngstown, and Jacob Rafeedie, a son of Issa and Randa Rafeedie, also of Youngstown, were married on July 24 at Edward W. Powers Auditorium in the DeYor Performing Arts Center.

The 3 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Carl Petrus, and the couple greeted guests during a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, they live in Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless winter white gown with French lace on the bodice and hemline and a sweep train.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in marketing management. She is a manager with Express in Boardman.

The groom earned a degree in communications from YSU and is self-employed in Canfield.
