Pa. man charged with teaching children 'sex games'

DUNCANSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man will stand trial on charges he molested two children by teaching them a sex game about his private parts.

Blair County prosecutors say 45-year-old Steven Mowery, of Duncansville, was charged after another baby sitter walked in and saw the children, a 6-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, engaged in a sex act in May.

Authorities say the children said they were playing “the winkie game,” which Mowery allegedly taught them. The “winkie” allegedly referred to Mowery’s private parts and authorities say the game involved acts between Mowery and the children and acts he allegedly taught them to perform on one another.

Mowery denies the charges and his defense attorney says the boy’s testimony at a preliminary hearing Thursday didn’t support them. A judge disagreed.
