North River Road opened after gas line rupture

A portion of North River Road just west of Niles Cortland Road was closed between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday after an Ohio Edison crew hit a gas line there, damaging it.

A crew from Dominion East Ohio Gas repaired the line, a spokesman for the Trumbull County 911 center said. The accident took place at about 10 a.m.
