Neighbors | Shaiyla Hakeem .North Elementary students filed into an Excursion stretch limo Dec. 3 which transported them to the Olive Garden for lunch. Gold Cross Limousine Service, in Struthers, served as the escort.
Poland North Elementary students Kailyn Assion, Lilly Kraynak, Maddie Anzeuivo, Frankie Garcia, Alex Radchenh, Karter Kellgren, Gia Almasy and Anthony Carbon were treated to lunch at the Olive Garden and traveled in style in a black Excursion stretch limousine.
Students who sold more than 10 items in the school’s fall fundraiser were placed into a drawing for the special lunch outing. Transportation was provided by Gold Cross Limousine Services, of Struthers, and the event was sponsored by the school’s PTO.
For many students, this was their first time riding in a stretch limousine. Kindergartner Lilly Kraynak remembers the exact moment when she was notified she had been picked to go. She said she was at lunch when principal Mike Masucci told her.
She was undecided on what she was going to order at the Olive Garden, but excited about the drive there.
“I’ve never been in one [limo] before, but I’ve seen one when I was in Florida,” Kraynak said. “I’m so happy we’re going on a limo ride.”
