The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the presence of the Rev. J. James Korda as Margaret Lamping and Louis Garland were united in marriage at Holy Family Church.

A reception at The Embassy in Youngstown honored the daughter of Russ Jr. and Mary Lamping of Poland and the son of Denise Young-Nycz of Boardman and Larry Garland of Girard.

After a honeymoon at the Hyatt Regency in Maui and The Grand Hyatt Regency in Kaui, Hawaii, the couple live in Boardman.

The bride wore an ivory satin A-line gown with a V-neckline, spiral straps and a classic train.

Wearing moonlight-black gowns were Jenn Minehart, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Melodie Campana, Rachel Wardle, Kelly Hollis, Tara Reedy, Courtney Beaver, Jen Raymond and Jen Krezikowsky. Flower girls were Olivia Minehart, the bride’s niece, and Kira Krezikowsky.

Greg Swantek served as best man, and groomsmen were Dan Lamping Sr., the bride’s brother, and Barry Wardle, Wes Hollis, Dave Geaney, Joe Hellman, Dave Cunningham and Jim Swantek. Ring bearers were Bryan Minehart and Danny Lamping Jr., the bride’s nephews.

The bride graduated from Sanford Brown Institute and is employed as an ultrasound technician by Dr. James Leonelli.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Ohio State University and a juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in Pittsburgh. He is employed by First Place Bank in Warren.
