Brent Allen, senior pastor, will speak.He will explain the enduring nature of Christianity. Cultural enrichment will be provided by the Old North Praise Band Group. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club invites the public to “Ring in 2011” from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 13 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center in Canfield. The event will feature Youngstown police officer Lindsay Pallo. Music will be by Jaclyn Hodos, and a guest, Eleanor Daum, will speak on “What to Do When Your World Falls Apart.” The cost is $13, and reservations are essential by Jan. 6.
