City’s North Side holiday lights tour is Monday

The 2nd annual Festival of Lights and Holiday Decorations Tour on Youngstown’s North Side will be Monday.

The 90-minute tours of houses on the North Side begin at 5:30 and 7 p.m., starting and ending at Avalon Gardens, 1719 Belmont Ave.

Participants will take a WRTA bus around the area.

The success of last year’s tour prompted the need to add an additional tour time. The goal of the tour is to display the homes and holiday spirit of the citizens of the North Side, said Councilman Jamael Tito Brown, D-3rd, who represents the area and is an organizer of the tour.
