Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was the honeymoon destination for David Martin Bajnok of McDonald and his bride, the former Jessica Dale Summers of Canfield after their July 24 wedding.

Old North Church was the setting for the 1:30 p.m. wedding performed by Shawn Sprouse. A reception followed at Avion on the Water.

The bride, daughter of Edward and June Summers of Canfield, and the groom, son of JoAnn and Jack Reno Jr. of McDonald and David S. and LouAnn Bajnok of Girard, reside in Pittsburgh.

The bride’s beaded, tiered tulle gown featured a sweetheart neckline.

Honor attendant for the bride was her sister Joleen Summers. Bridesmaids were Jill Fabian; Sherri Hartzell; Rhonda Cattaneo; Lisa Santucci; sister of the groom; Julia Walker and Lisa John, cousins of the bride; and Whitney Zmith. Flower girls Melina and Haylie John are cousins of the bride. Attendants wore deep purple gowns.

Best men follow: Tom Cormell, Mike Fabian, Josh Krumpak, Brad Krumpak, Kyle Lowe, Scott Styers and Jeff Flora. Carter Santucci, the groom’s nephew, and Connor Cattaneo were ring bearers.

Ushers were Rich Santucci, the groom’s nephew, and Nathan John and Anthony Pizzola, cousins of the bride.

Mrs. Bajnok is an account manager for UPMC in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing.

Her husband is employed as a mechanical engineer for Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in Pittsburgh. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
