Playhouse cuts price of tickets for donors
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Playhouse is partnering with the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley this holiday season. The Playhouse will offer a $5 discount on tickets to its current production, the holiday comedy “Inspecting Carol,” with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy or winter coat.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The regular ticket price is $15 ($12 for seniors and students).
Using the “show within a show” concept, “Inspecting Carol” is about an inept theater company that is struggling to perform “A Christmas Carol.” It is directed by Brian Lee and stars Tom O’Donnell, Terry Shears, Connie Cassidy and Molly Galano. It has mature content and strong language.
For reservations, call the box office at 330-788-8739.
