Erin Hamilton, a daughter of Mary Hamilton of Parma and Allan Hamilton of San Jose, Calif., and Matthew Akuszewski, a son of Barbara Akuszewski of Canfield and Alan Akuszewski of Boardman, were married on Sept. 4 at Hudson United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Paul Beal officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Bertram Inn in Aurora.

The bride wore a strapless white ball gown designed with a corset back and embellished with pearls and sequins.

Dianne Gohmann was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Mindy Janssen, Stacie Hale, Heather Bora, Alison Akuszewski, a sister of the groom, and Lauren Akuszewski, his niece. They wore pink gowns. The couple’s daughter Alina Akuszewski was flower girl.

David Akuszewski was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were David Kuszai; James Markos; Chris Scenna; Tom Hamilton, the bride’s brother; and Brandon Akuszewski, a nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Dylan Akuszewski, the couple’s son.

The newlyweds postponed their wedding trip and live in the greater Cleveland area.
