Campbell may restart soccer program

CAMPBELL

The school district may be dusting off its soccer equipment and reviving its defunct program.

Schools Superintendent Thomas Robey said the program ended in school year 2005-06 after interest in it waned. But a group of students at the November school board meeting asked the board to look into restarting it, he said.

Tuesday, Robey told the board that 16 boys and 10 girls have indicated they would play.
