School vandalized

WARREN

It was a good night on the hardwood Saturday for the Warren John F. Kennedy High School boys basketball team, as the Eagles won their first game of the year at Champion, 49-31.

But the story wasn’t so good when JFK Coach Shawn Pompelia and his players returned to JFK High School about 9:30 p.m. and found that a chunk of cement had been thrown through the windows of four vehicles in the school parking lot, 2550 Central Parkway Ave. S.E. Two other vehicles were damaged by the concrete but not entered, police said. In all, six vehicles were involved.

Items such as a global- positioning system, purse and wallet were taken from one of the vehicles, police said.
