CEOs optimistic on jobs, sales, capital spending
NEW YORK (AP) — More top corporate executives expect to hire workers and boost spending on their companies over the next six months, according to a national association of top executives. CEOs are also counting on higher sales.
Business Roundtable today released its latest survey of CEOs of major U.S. corporations. It has conducted the survey every quarter since fall 2002.
The group's 193 member companies employ more than 12 million workers and together have annual revenues of almost $6 trillion.
