MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Dec. 15: Beef and pepper patty with gravy, mashed potatoes, Harvard beets, rye bread with margarine, regular or unsweetened peaches, birthday cupcake or angel food cake, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 16: Chicken a la king, broccoli cuts, yam patty with glaze, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Friday, Dec. 17: Jumbo hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, whole kernel corn, apple juice, cupcake or angel food cake, and milk.

Saturday, Dec. 18: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and mayonnaise, celery cup with ranch dressing, apple, grape juice and milk.

Monday, Dec. 20: Penne pasta with sauce and meatballs, green beans, Italian bread with margarine, apple juice, regular or unsweetened fruit salad, Lorna Doones and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 21: Chicken salad on a bun, three-bean salad, applesauce, regular or unsweetened vanilla pudding, grape juice and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, Dec. 15: Beef and pepper patty, mashed potatoes with gravy, Harvard beets, rye bread with margarine, regular or unsweetened peaches, birthday cake or angel food cake, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 16: Chicken a la king, broccoli, glazed yam patty, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Friday, Dec. 17: Super hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, corn, apple juice and milk.

Monday, Dec. 20: Penne pasta and meatballs, green beans, Italian bread with margarine, apple juice, regular or unsweetened mixed fruit and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 21: Chicken salad, three-bean salad, wheat bread with margarine, grape juice, regular or unsweetened mandarins and milk.
