2 hospitalized after Trumbull crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Southington Post is investigating a crash that sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 422, just west of Brightwood Avenue.

Jason G. Taylor, 33, of Girard, was driving his car west on Route 422 and went left of center, striking two other cars that were traveling east on Route 422. One of the cars was driven by Ryan Phillips, 17, of Campbell, and the other by Juanita Walker, 33, of Youngstown.

Taylor was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center for injuries to his hips, ribs, left arm and back. Phillips, who suffered a leg injury, was also transported to St. E’s, OSP reported.

Walker reported no injuries, the patrol said.
